Starting on September 29th, Amazon MX Player will host the fourth season of Playground, the platform’s reality gaming entertainment show. The forthcoming season will feature a wide range of competitive gaming challenges and events.
This season, sixteen competitors will compete in four teams, each led by a mentor from the gaming and entertainment sectors. Viewers can vote for the rivals they prefer most using the Amazon MX Player app.
In addition to game duties, the contestants will engage in entertainment and team-building activities. The Ultimate Gaming Entertainer will be determined by this tournament. With lots of punchlines and entertaining tasks, the trailer summed up the experience for the upcoming season, same and dragged.
What started as a pretty fun game show has now become a dull and pointless show that excites no one. The judge’s panel has also significantly deteriorated over the last seasons which showcases the amount of entertainment and lack of professional gameplay in between tasks.
The show’s audience has been limited and might continue to decrease with the debut of season 4. Elvish Yadav, Munawar Faruqui, Mortal, and Mythpat are the mentors for this season. Despite their fanbase, the show seems to be dull and their presence mildly makes a difference.
With an underwhelming trailer and a mild response from fans, Playground S4 is set to release on Amazon MX Player on 29th September. It remains to be seen how this season will affect both the show’s and Indian gaming’s futures.
