Vikramaditya Motwane is coming up with a new film on Netflix India. The man is known for some of the most remarkable films of our generation like Udaan and Lootera.
His path breaking films have taken a new genre which he himself likes to call as “cyber thriller”. The movie starring Ananya Panday in the lead role will be released on the platform this weekend.
Yes, we do realise that she just starred in the Prime Video series Call Me Bae. Looks like Netflix India is in mood of capitalising the same buzz that she received from the series which happens to be a decent success.
Because, we are not able to see many efforts in promoting the film. And when promotions are not on the point then most probably something is wrong.
You see, Netflix India is one of the best platforms when it comes to the marketing of any film or series. They come up with innovative ideas and also organise big scaled events. Although it is a rare event and not desired all the time, it is best to maintain some sort of uniformity.
As of now, we don’t think that Netflix India is giving the kind of attention it ideally should to a film like CTRL.
