Manoj Bajpayee is currently the ruling force on the Indian OTT. His series are a charm and even his films are insanely successful. Take the case of Gulmohar. This Disney+Hotstar won many awards at the National Film Awards this year.
Do you remember “Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai”? The movie was so successful on Zee5 that the makers had to put it on the big screens and it still remains a red diamond film for the Indian OTT.
But, now is the time for the next one.
Bajpayee is coming back to Zee5 and this time with a film called Despatch. The movie directed by Kanu Behl is developed by RSVP and it will first hit the MAMI Film Festival.
After getting done with that, the movie will be released on Zee5.
Despatch is apparently based on a mammoth scam from 2011. We are not really sure which particular scam the movie alludes to but it would be fun to watch. Bajpayee portrays the role of a journalist who works in the print media.
