Netflix India is ready with a new film. Yes, the film starring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi in the lead roles was initially supposed to hit the big screens but the producer Aditya Dhar decided to go for streaming as a better option.
The film is a comedy-drama in which the leading pair is looking for a marriage partner for each other. Quite obviously it is not a plain simple story and they decide to run after a while. Yami’s character is a wild one and she is anyone but the “homely” girl that the family of Pratik’s character were looking for.
So on the suhagraat of the couple they are met with goons where Yami shoots one of them. They are followed by more goons and the film is perhaps about their survival.
Anyway, the film is directed by Rishab Seth. He is the same director who helmed the 2021 film “Cash” that ultimately landed on Disney+Hotstar Multiplex.
The start of the year has been extraordinary for Netflix India as they gave us “Black Warrant”. The streak broke with “The Roshans” but the hopes are high from this film. Moreover, Yami Gautam’s “Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga” became one of the biggest hits on Netflix India and it also emerged as the most-watched film of 2023 on Netflix.
