Disney+ Hotstar has launched the trailer of its latest original series ‘Oops Ab Kya?’ and the reply to which should definitely be “just stop”. Helmed by Prem Mistry, ‘Oops Ab Kya?’ will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 20th February, 2025.
‘Oops Ab Kya?’ trailer shows Roohi’s nani preaching her about protecting family’s name as its like a piggy bank which once breaks won’t get back together. Turns out Roohi is pregnant and the metaphorical piggy bank has broken, irritatingly too many times.
But then it is discovered that it wasn’t Roohi but her gynaecologist who committed a mistake and inseminated her instead of another patient. (Now that looks loosely inspired from ‘Good Newwz’.) What follows is a whole lot of comedy and drama which to be honest feels old and boring.
‘Oops Ab Kya?’ seems to be trying to work an obsolete formula that has been used many times and does not look interesting at all. The show is most likely to join other Disney+ Hotstar shows which are just unnecessary.
Directed by Prem Mistry, ‘Oops Ab Kya?’ stars Shweta Basu Prasad, Aashim Gulati, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sonali Kulkarni, Apara Mehta, Abhay Mahajan, and Amy among others. Produced by Dice Media, ‘Oops Ab Kya?’ will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar on 20th February, 2025.
