The newest trailer for SonyLIV’s acclaimed political drama, Maharani Season 4, proves that the upcoming season will be the biggest in terms of ambition, scope, and storyline. This time, we will see Rani Bharti (Huma Qureshi) declaring war against the Prime Minister of India (played by Pradeep Rawat, known for Lagaan and Ghajini), preparing herself to take the battle to the nation’s capital.
The new clip confirms that the stakes have never been higher, setting the stage for a dramatic showdown between Rani and the Prime Minister. The PM offers Rani a proposal to join hands and work together to develop Bihar. However, Rani refuses his offer, stating that she “is very happy and secure in Bihar.” She even informs him that she bears no grudge against him, but if the PM joins hands with her enemies and troubles her, she will not hesitate to snatch away his power.
Suddenly, the focus shifts to the Prime Minister feeding grains to pigeons. Out of nowhere, he starts calling one of the pigeons ‘Rani’, teasing Qureshi’s character in front of her. The PM tells Rani that his pigeon named ‘Rani’ obeys him very well. The moment the pigeon stops obeying him, he stops feeding it grain, forcing the pigeon to come back to him. This chilling visual metaphor underscores the PM’s manipulative and controlling nature.
Season 4 takes Rani’s journey to an unprecedented level of ambition and scope. The trailer reveals that Rani’s focus is now fixed on Delhi, signifying her ascension from a regional CM to a national political player. Rani is no longer trapped inside the confines of Patna. Instead, she is all set to walk proudly, with her head held high, in the colossal corridors of power in Delhi.
The trailer teases a high-stakes chess game where Rani must use her street smarts and political evolution to shake the very foundation of the established central authority. This face-off promises complex moral compromises, brutal political maneuvering, and a thrilling clash of ideologies.
This very clash could make Maharani Season 4 the biggest original hit from SonyLIV this year. It is set to premiere on the streaming platform on November 7. Stay tuned for more updates. Here’s the new trailer!
