Vikramaditya Motwane has come up with a brilliant modern day thriller in Netflix’s ‘CTRL’ that might make you rethink about your digital footprints, change your passwords, deny permissions for apps, cover your webcams and much more.
Netizens are going rave about ‘CTRL’ and cannot stop talking about how fascinating and well made the film is. The pacing is great, Ananya Panday’s performance as Nella is excellent, and the story will bring your worst fears to life with its modern day relevant theme.
It’s the kind of thrill you might not be prepared for because it will make you uncomfortable and raise questions you know are important but often choose to ignore for convenience. The timing for this cautionary digital age screen life thriller couldn’t have been better.
‘CTRL’ makes for a great one time watch and will do down as one of Ananya Panday’s best performance in her filmography. In fact, her last project with Netflix, ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ was also a good one and we hope they continue this partnership for more such great content.
ananya pandey is solid, and ctrl has some genuinely great moments, especially the ending, but it doesn’t really have anything novel to say about technology and social media.
