March has been packed with film releases across theatres and streaming platforms.
As the month comes to an end, the focus is now on Shahid Kapoor’s film O’Romeo. After its theatrical release on February 13 during Valentine’s week, the film is now ready for its digital debut. It will be available on Prime Video from March 27, 2026, but only on rent. Viewers who prefer to watch it without paying extra may have to wait until early April.
O’Romeo is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and is based on a book about Mumbai’s underworld. Shahid Kapoor plays the lead role of Ustara. The film also features Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Disha Patani among others. Many well known actors also appear in special roles. But the movie was received negatively among the critics. There was a very weak storyline and people definitely expect more from someone like Vishal Bhardwaj.
Shahid Kapoor is an impeccable actor and he has given a lot of good performances with Bhardwaj. After O’Romeo, he will appear in Cocktail 2, a romantic comedy with Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna. Fans are now waiting to see how O’Romeo performs on streaming. Let’s see if people are kinder on O’Romeo on streaming.
