The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 is now running. We wish we could say “successfully”. You see, The Great Indian Kapil Show has been criticized for its contents right from the very beginning.
The reason?
Poor writing.
The entertainment industry is not in a position where it can ignore the writers. Right after the onset of OTT, people realized that writers are the core of any film or series. They provide the direction which the director takes up.
We do realise that The Great Indian Kapil Show is technically a non-scripted show but there is nothing really non-scripted about the show. Most of the jokes are pre-written and now in 2024, they suck.
They are highly outdated and an utter failure in entertaining us the way they used to back in 2015. People have evolved, and so has their humour.
You can’t expect them to buy the marketing that says “Shanivar” as “Funnywar”.
Anyway, what’s the new update?
The show has dropped massively after the initial buzz. You see, the show got some decent views in the first season but even that seems to be a big achievement if we take into account the recent numbers.
If you see the charts then you will be able to appreciate that The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 is at the last position and with really not-so-respectable view numbers.
There doesn’t seem to be any chance of redemption in the second season either.
