It’s been long known that Siddharth Sengupta’s ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’ will return for a second season on Netflix and finally the global streamer has unveiled a frost look poster and release date for the show.
‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’ first look poster is an intense red themed picture featuring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anchal Singh, Shweta Tripathi and Gurmeet Chaudhary. Season 2 is all set to land on Netflix on 22nd November, 2024.
As per the official logline, “Vikram thought he had the perfect plan to get rid of his ruthless wife. But when his hired hitman turns against him and kidnaps her for ransom, he finds himself in a deadly game with no rules. To make matters worse, a new and powerful rival, who is in love with Purva, enters the fray. Purva, herself, has a few tricks up her sleeve. How will Vikrant survive this web of lies, greed and murder?”
‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’ season one had a successful run on Netflix upon it’s premiere two years ago in 2022. Though the show felt like a far fetched doomed love story with an uneven narrative and gaping plot holes, the incredible ensemble cast pulled it through with it’s excellent performances alongside great BGM and the small twists that came along the way.
For Season 2, team ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’ is quite thrilled and claims that in this new season fans can expect an interesting plot twist, new challenges and a heightened level of suspense and thrill. The love triangle between the main protagonists is not going to be as simple a sit seems anymore, as the new entrants compel the older ones to reveal their true colors. The show is touted to be an emotional roller coaster ranging from suspense and tragedy to heartache and excitement.

The show is written, directed and showrun by Siddharth Sengupta who has also produced it alongside Jyoti Sagar. Varun Badola has penned the dialogues for the show.
