Agatha All Along has finally culminated, and many are wondering if it was in fact Billy All Along. The final episode was full of massive revelations, and finally we have a wizard to take over the place of the scarlet witch. Just like the end of Wandavision, in the last episode of Agatha All Along, Billy has acquired his own superhero costume, which has led many to speculate: can we see Billy in the upcoming young Avengers?
Not just that, Agatha All Along has left many threads and plot lines open for the MCU to later pick upon, and for once, the intent of spreading inclusivity of characters has reached the audience without sabotaging the story as a whole. Which is a big win for Disney.
Back when the series was being released, there was a statement made by Audrey Plaza. She had said that this was the gayest Marvel show ever. And she was right. The characters were in fact powerful in their identities. The series was very fluid in its portrayal of queerness, and it didn’t hinder the storytelling. So, has Dinsey finally learned the lesson?
The bigger question at the moment, however, is what’s next for these characters? Where and when will we be able to see Wiccan or Agatha again? As for Agatha, it is still unclear; however, Billy’s place in the future of the MCU is definitely set. As of now, he has to find his brother speed; perhaps he might have a run-in with his father Visison in Vision’s Quest. Maybe he will find a way to Ms. Marvel, who is already assembling young Avengers.
The possibilities are immense; overall, the show has performed tremendously well. It is to be seen whether it is renewed for a second season.
