Josh Greenbaum, Mel Brooks, and Josh Gad are collaborating on a Spaceballs sequel. For Amazon MGM Studios, Gad will both produce and star in the movie. Gad has said that working with Brooks has been one of the joys of his career, and the first draft of the script is finished. Brooks has been supportive and participating in the endeavour, and the partnership has been called a fever dream.
Director Gad claims that the 1987 satirical sci-fi comedy Spaceballs is approaching its end zone. The film, which was released by MGM, centres on President Skroob and the malevolent Dark Helmet’s plot to take the atmosphere of the peaceful planet Druidia. But the Druish princess Vespa, the hero Lone Starr, and his sidekick Barf stop them. Gad thinks it’s a dream to finally bring about the truth that Yoghurt foretold in the previous film.
The first Spaceballs had a cult following, and its creator, John Brooks, has been working on a sequel for years. Brooks failed to get a deal when Rick Moranis tried to pitch the sequel. Brooks proposed in 2015 that a follow-up might benefit from the 2015 release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which redesigned the series under Disney.
The upcoming Spaceball sequel promises to bring the comedy of the original film. The project has unique fresh energy as well as a nostalgic feeling . This film would be great for a new audience.Fans can eagerly anticipate the film.
