John Cena (F9, Barbie, Peacemaker) and Eric Andre (Rough Night, The Lion King, Sing 2) will push their brotherly bond to the limits in Netflix’s new comedy Little Brother, written by Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul. Ruben Fleischer and David Bernad are set to produce the film.
The story follows a renowned and talented real estate agent whose meticulously organized life turns upside down when his chaotic and eccentric “little brother” unexpectedly reenters the picture.
Cena is preparing to bid farewell to WWE with a tour in 2025, after which he will fully immerse himself in his Hollywood career. Fans can look forward to seeing him in the upcoming film Matchbox and the second season of Peacemaker.
Little Brother is part of Netflix’s newly announced partnership with WWE, set to officially kick off in January 2025. The project was unveiled by the streamer’s Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria, during a recent press event.
Before becoming a Hollywood heavyweight, John Cena began his entertainment journey with WWE nearly two decades ago. His farewell tour is scheduled to start next year, with appearances at major events like Elimination Chamber (2025) and WrestleMania 41.
