Netflix has unveiled the release window of Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias’ highly anticipated stand-up special, Legend of Fluffy. The special will premiere on January 7, 2025. The project emerges from the comedian’s two-special deal with the streaming service, which was finalised earlier this year.
“Legend of Fluffy” comes after Iglesias’ “Stadium Fluffy” on Netflix. It will serve as a reminiscent of the dangers of his life, touching key points, like dating, turbulent plane rides, unexpected home break-ins and more.
Iglesias performed at the sold-out Dodger Stadium for Stadium Fluffy (2022), making him the first-ever comedian to do a special on the mentioned venue. As for Legend of Fluffy, the comedian will entertain the audience at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida.
One of the most prominent and highest-grossing comedians of all time, Iglesias’ stand-ups have collected over two billion views on YouTube. He also treasures over 34 million followers on his official social media platforms.
The man is also known for his other notable stand-ups like Gabriel Iglesias: I’m Sorry for What I Said When I Was Hungry (2016) and Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias: One Show Fits All (2019).
Manny Rodriguez helmed Legend of Fluffy, with the trio of Iglesias, Joe Meloche, and John Bravakis serving as the special’s executive producers. Triage Entertainment and Fluffy Shop Studios have co-produced the project. Stay tuned for more updates.
