Netflix has launched the trailer for Tyler Perry’s first Netflix series ‘Beauty In Black’ and this is one scandalous drama where it’s all about saving that all important image and surviving. Part 1 of the 16-episode drama, ‘Beauty In Black’ premieres on Netflix on 24th October, 2024.
‘Beauty In Black’ follows two women Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) and Mallory (Crystle Stewart). While the former has been ousted by her mother and is struggling to make ends meet, the latter is running her own successful business. How their lives get entangled is what the show is all about.
‘Beauty In Back’ is set in Atlanta and brings together the story of a super rich Black family involved in hair care business and an exotic dancer caught up in the seedy underbelly of a famed Magic City strip club.
The trailer looks super intense with action, family drama, scandal, and also the stakes are high as it’s all about surviving in a tough world. How two different worlds collide and a storm arises is what ‘Beauty In Black’ is all about.
‘Beauty In Black’ is part of Tyler Perry’s multi-year first look deal with Netflix where in he will , direct, and produce films and series. His other projects with Netflix are ‘AJazzman’s Blues’, ‘A Madea Homecoming’, ‘A Fall From Grace’ and ‘Six Triple Eight’.
