The official trailer for Cross has surfaced, thanks to Prime Video! The latest clip shows the Black Adam fame Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross, a skilled but troubled detective.
The forthcoming Prime Video series serves as the latest adaptation of James Patterson’s Alex Cross novels. Hodge plays the protagonist, a detective with a PhD in psychology. He is known to track and hunt down lethal serial killers. However, his work and struggles often affect his relationship with his loved ones. Veteran Morgan Freeman played the character in Along Came a Spider and Kiss the Girls.
All eight episodes will be released on Prime Video on November 14.
In addition to Hodge, Cross stars Isaiah Mustafa (Detective John Sampson), Juanita Jennings (Regina Cross), Sharon Taylor (Lieutenant Oracene Massey), Melody Hurd (Janelle Cross), Alona Tal as Kayla Craig, Johnny Ray Gill (Bobby Trey), Eloise Mumford (Shannon Whitmer), and more.
The latest clip opens with showcasing a major villain, who hides his facial identity by a flesh-like face mask. Soon, we see Hodge’s Alex Cross, a Metro PD detective, who tries to solve the case of a missing girl. However, the killer turns the tables after he starts hunting Cross and his children.
