Rings of Power has raked up a whopping billion minutes of streaming in a record-breaking 4 days. Rings of Power season one had a mixed reaction. Sure, there were die-hard Tolkien consumers who absolutely that series up; the number of complaints about pacing were floating all across the internet.
In contrast, this massive achievement by the second season is definitely a win for the community. Although there are enough complaints about the second season, it surely makes up for it with on-point casting and world-building. The characters feel at home, and the world feels familiar, as we had seen in The Lord of the Rings movies.
Fans are losing their minds over this achievement. And it is indeed impressive. Perhaps a little too impressive. What we mean by that is, there is a certain section of the audience that has turned skeptic. And it is quite something; the series going over a billion minutes in just four days over its release sounds absurd.
To say that the numbers were tampered with would be too harsh, but then again, numbers like these don’t show up all of a sudden over a lukewarm reception. Anyhow, the series is definitely making headlines. Rings of Power Season Finale will release on October 3 on Amazon Prime Video.
