Venom: The Last Dance might just be the one thing that might pull Sony out of its continuous flop streak in its Sony Spider-Man Universe. After Venom: Let There Be Carnage, they have had consistent flop entries. And for a good reason. But this time Sony seems to be actually putting in some work. And it shows.
The movie being the final entry in the Venom Trilogy, it got Sony to finally lock in. The studios that once assumed fans were serious about the sarcasm they imparted over Morbius are finally cooking. And the fans are digging it. The marketing team deserves a raise, as the fans are delighted to see the posters. Showcasing Venom taking over Las Vegas, the poster looks pitch perfect.
Prior to this, the released artwork of Venom as a fish and a frog had already gotten people speaking. The studio is leaving no stone unturned. Continuing the absurd popcorn bucket trend going on in Hollywood, Venom: The Last Dance threw in its own entry to the list. Apart from all of this, the rumors around the town of Sider Man being a part of it already assembled the MCU audience. Given that the last time we saw Venom, he was in the 616 timeline, fans are eager to know where the story will transition to the MCU.
Perhaps the masterstroke is still the trailer. While the rest of the it feels scattered all over the place, the inclusion of Knull made everyone gasp. Even before this reveal, the character like Toxin was ready to take the charge of being the fan magnet. All in all, Venom: The Last Dance feels promising after a constant series of flops. Still, the best marketing is the way Venom Movies are ignorant of the rest of the movies in the universe. Venom: The Last Dance will hit theaters on October 25.
