The Penguin episode 4 has been a complete reversal about everything that we have thought. The episode is, in fact, jumping genres. We see how the theories we had about the Christian Millioti character are completely changed here. The clever recast of a central character and the overall power dynamic shifting against Oswald is what makes up this episode such a fan favorite.
People are loving it. The series doesn’t shy away from being utterly brutal when the plot wants it to be. It has everything for everyone. The fellow comic nerds are happy with the little tidbits that just are thrown around here and there. For the thrill-loving lot, the uncertainity of the series is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat. And not just that, to anyone who has the October itch of watching something spooky, I have just one thing to say to you. “The Arkham Sequence”
Overall, the episode is gold. The series has thus far managed to breakout of the stereotype that comicbook projects lack conviction in regards to the subgenres. Now that Oswald’s truth is out about him murdering Alberto, the Maroni’s are after him, and so is Sofia. And who would have guessed, neither she is crazy nor the hangman?
Overall, an episode full of surprises and theory fodder. The fourth episode of Penguin has been widely talked about as the best episode yet.
