Tom Cruise’s next mystery project with Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu might soon start flying. And by soon it might start its shooting next month in the UK. The movie will be Alejandro Inarritu’s English debut. The script of the movie has been in works since 2023, with the minds of Nicolas Giacobone, Sabina Berman, and Alexander Dinelaris. The cast includes Sandra Huller, John Goodman, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, and Sophie Wilde along with Tom Cruise.
The last time Tom Cruise was working with Legendary was in 2014, with Edge of Tomorrow. While he had signed a deal to develop films with Warner Bros., this will be the movie that he will be working on ever since. The last we saw Cruise, he was once again making the impossible possible in “Dead Reckoning” and Top Gun: Maverick. Perhaps this will be a change of taste, as he already has a mission-impossible movie lined up with Paramount Studios. The next one will be the eighth in the franchise. Not just that, Tom will be busy with yet another project. which is already making news as Tom Cruise will reportedly do a space walk in the movie, which is set to be directed by Doug Liman.
Inarritu and Giacobone already have Academy Awards to their names for their 2015 movie Birdman; it is exciting as to what they will bring to screen with such a huge name like Tom Cruise. Any details about the script, or even the title, have been kept under wraps.
