Universal and Nolan are once again teaming up after making history with Oppenheimer. And its about time; we got another Nolan flick to make our heads turn. The best part of Nolan’s filmography is that you cannot expect what Nolan might bring to the table. The man has touched upon so many genres; every other film is something new. The man has touched upon sci-fi as well as comic book movies. And this time, it’s no different.
Reportedly, Nolan is ready to cook up a period drama, and it is going to be about vampires. Now, if you have noticed, Hollywood is reverting back to its obsession with the movies. We will get back to that. For now, while we already knew that Matt Damon was going to be a part of the movie, a new name is getting linked to the project.
Tom Holland is going to be a part of the movie; now, just by his inclusion, it is not really necessary; the movie will be high on action. As far as speculations go, a vampire movie is primarily horror, but it has to set out to be different from the sudden resurgence of the vampires.
Ryan Coogler is already working on Sinners, and there’s, of course, Nosferatu. This makes it rather fun to speculate as to what Nolan would add to the trope to make it different.
As of now, there’s still a lot of fog around the project. However, it won’t be too long before we have a confirmation.
