Los Angeles is suffering from what is apparently the most destructive wildfire in the recorded history of the USA. The losses are estimated around $150 Billion and this is a huge deal. There is mayhem and it may take a lot of time for the USA to recover from this disaster.
Due to this problem, Hollywood seems to have stopped. Meghan Merkel didn’t launch her Netflix title, shootings have stopped, the Oscars have been delayed twice and just so many other things.
Netflix and Universals have offered $10 Million each to help overcome the disaster but all the attempts are looking futile.
In the last two years Hollywood has realised two things. Massive protest and natural disaster each have a potential to destroy one of the most powerful Industries in the world and i.e. Hollywood.
We are talking about the SAG protest, and now we are talking about this.
As of now the Oscar nominations announcement has been pushed twice and now the tentative date is the 23rd of January. But looking at the condition it could be further delayed to an even later date.
Well, no one could be sure in scenarios like this. Let’s wait till it finally happens. Stay tuned to Binged for the confirmed date.
