Its not an everyday thing that the internet collectively decides that it is done with having this one guy being on top of the algorithm food chain and subsequently dethrones them, but if they themselves are a catalyst to their own downfalls, who can even be blamed? Well, James Donaldson, or as you may know him as Mr. Beast, the insanely huge YouTuber from America, is probably on thin ice, or maybe the ice has already cracked.
Now Jimmy is known for his eccentric challenges, giveaways, and merchandise, which is almost impossible to dodge if you are on YouTube. And this has given him a total net worth of around $500 million by 2023. Which in turn fuels his channels weird challenges. Mr. Beast recently brought in a number of contestants for a real-life “Squid Games,” minus the torment with Amazon. Calling it “Beast Games.” The participants, however, were not exactly ready for the actual challenge.
Multiple contestants have sued Mr. Beat over a number of things. Ranging from mistreatment, failure to pay wages, and even sexual harassment. While Amazon and Donanidson didn’t even reply to the matter, Beast’s own production division is being sued to pay the amount. It is speculated though that the lawsuit will most likely see a trial as the settlement is more probable.
It is sad to see someone as beloved as Mr. Beast be so insensitive, as instead of addressing the matter, he continues to endorse his merch and his latest product, “Lunchly, with a couple of Youtube faces.
