Netflix has dropped a gripping trailer for the second season of its globally hit Korean series ‘Hellbound’ and this time the dystopian world continues with Hellbound decrees and demons. Hellbound season 2 will launch globally only on Netflix on 25th October, 2024.
‘Hellbound’ season 2 trailer shows Jung Jinsu (Kim Sung-cheol) and Park Jungja (Kim Shin-rok) are no more the winners but the the Resurrected Ones who are here to tell the new truth to others after having witnessed it with their own eyes while being in hell. This new season marks a new chapter within the chaos of hellbound decrees and demonstrations. Ever since Jung disappearance and the condemned baby’s survival, the New Truth found it hard to stand and meanwhile, the Arrowheads have grown in power with their terrifying rituals.
Anindya the old faces, some new faces will appear in Season 2 and these include Cheon Sehyeong (Im Seong-jae), the first person to meet the resurrected Jung; Lee Sugyeong (Moon So-ri) the political affairs secretary who aims to use the New Truth and Park Jungja to restore order and balance to society; and Miss Sunshine (Moon Geun-young), a devoted Arrowhead follower.
Written and directed by Yeon Sang-ho ‘Hellbound’ Season 1 received the Best Horror Series honour at the 2021 Golden Tomato Awards and was acclaimed by viewers and critics worldwide. It ranked within the Top 10 TV list in 93 countries just ten days after its release in 2021. ‘Hellbound’ season 2 will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 25th October, 2024.
