If you have seen Netflix psychological crime thriller drama series ‘Mindhunter’, you would know how the series for two seasons straight was building up for the Zodiac Killer, arguably the most famous unsolved murder case in American history. But unfortunately the show was abruptly cancelled by Netflix after those two seasons and we could not get to know what happened next.
If you have been wondering the same, Netflix has the solution as it brings a new dedicated documentary on the unidentified serial killer titled ‘This Is The Zodiac Speaking’. The trailer for the true crime documentary-series was unveiled today and its about how a family searching for answers, shares clues and eye-opening testimonies about the prime suspect in the Zodaic murders.
The Zodiac operated in the 1960s in Northern California and had murdered five known victims in the San Francisco Bay area in between December 1968 and October 1969, operating in rural, urban, and suburban settings. He was very mysterious and coined his name in several taunting messages. He used to mail them to regional newspapers and also threatens them to print it otherwise he would go on a killing spree and bombings. He used to claim that he is collecting slaves for the after life. The last confirmed letter from the Zodiac came in 1974 where he claimed to have murdered 37 people.
‘This Is The Zodiac Speaking’ will premiere only on Netflix on 23rd October, 2023.
