After their first Hindi film ‘99’ made it’s way to Prime Video a couple of months ago, now Raj and DK’s first directorial feature film ‘Flavours’ has too found home on Prime Video.
Made in English and screened at various international film festivals, ‘Flavours’ had a limited release in India and the US and not many know about it. The romantic comedy film follows four different tracks of immigrant Indians in the United States.
First up is NRI Rad and his American fiancé Jenni and how the former’s parents quickly adapt to American ways. Then there’s Kartik whose long distance girlfriend is being set up for an arrange marriage by her aunt. Thirdly there’s a bored housewife living with her workaholic husband in the US but little does she know that he has lost his job. Lastly there’s a group of four friends living together where one of them is depressed as his girlfriend form India gets married to someone else. How these characters convene at Rad and Jennie’s wedding forms the rest of the story.
Penned and helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, ‘Flavours’ stars Reef Karim, Anjan Srivastav, Bharati Achrekar, Pooja Kumar, Rishma Malik, Anupam Mittal, Jicky Schnee and Sireesha Katragadd in prominent roles.
