The Legend Of Maula Jatt is coming to the big screens in India. It is a highly successful Pakistani film that stars Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Faris Shafi, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humaima Malik in the lead roles.
The movie is in Punjabi language and will be the first Pakistani film to be released in India in over 10 years. We must acknowledge that it is very rare for India and Pakistan to develop a healthy political relationship but Pakistani music and films do have a market in India.
When people in India are not familiar with Pakistani films getting released on the big screens, Indian films keep getting frequently released in Pakistan. In fact, Punjabi blockbuster Jatt and Juliet 3 minted more money than the usual Pakistani Punjabi films.
However due to Zee Studios facilitating the release of “The Legend of Maula Jatt” in India, it is on the target now. Not just that, Zee Zindagi, Zee5 and the entire Entertainment wing of Zee is on the target.
People are questioning how the movie can be allowed in India as the money collected in India can be used against us through terrorist activities.
There can never be an easy explanation for situations like this. What do you think?
It raises concerns about how @ZeeStudios_ can proceed with the release of this Pakistani film, considering that the funds generated from Indian audiences may potentially be utilized for activities that threaten India’s security.#BoycottZeeStudios pic.twitter.com/eZwZyIvIZI

How dare #Zee try to pull such a stunt in India? #BJP #PMO needs to immediately take cognizance, not only deny but also punish Zee for its Pakistani Prem. If Zee not involved, they should render a denial immediately. #MaulanaJatt #Pakistan #movie https://t.co/bHZdhqFvuV
