There is truly not a dull day for a good action packed thriller and drama. Especially not for a well written and even better crafted one. Take for example the most recently released Kannada titles. During the month of October itself, the two Kannada features that were released were both well-received action films.
While one of them was the Dhruva Sarja led ‘Martin’, the latter was DR Suri’s action thriller venture ‘Bagheera’, which has now gone on to become the first Kannada-language film to be acquired to stream on Netflix! Starring Srii Murali and Prakash Raj in leading roles, the film has debuted to raging positive reviews.
Since Netflix had prevented the release of Kannada titles for the longest time, this announcement will definitely warrant large viewership numbers. So much so, that Kannada titles might just become a regular on the giant OTT platform!
Considering the fact that this news has impressed a large section of viewers, beginning streaming big Kannada films like ‘K.G.F’ and ‘Kantara’, would be the ideal immediate plan-of-action for Netflix!
