The recently released flick of the Kannada film industry is going to stream the effort on this platform. How well can it be received by the OTT audience?
‘Bagheera’ is an action superhero thriller directed by Dr. Suri, based on a story by Prashanth Neel, who has conceived movies like KGF Franchise and Salaar. The effort is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur for Hombale films.
The clash with its competitors like ‘Amaran’ and ‘Lucky Baskhar’ was the star attraction for a large audience to watch the flick but it couldn’t get much appreciation unlike the other two.
As per the credible responses, the movie mainly focuses on the star material rather than the importance of the story, with umpteen references from Hollywood superhero movies and Indian blends.
Also, the color grading that efficiently sets the mood albeit being a replica of KGF, production design, and stunt sequences puts the movie in a watchable category.
However, the audience can have relief if they have an objective in watching a popcorn entertainer while avoiding unnecessary hype or expectation.
On an important note, the movie that will soon be streamed doesn’t include Indian languages like Hindi, whose audience has been focusing on the Sandalwood since the mammoths like ‘KGF’ and ‘Kantara.’
The technical labour includes the handling of cinematography by A J Shetty, editing overseen by Pranav Sri Prasad, and Ajaneesh Loknath will be composing the music as well as the background scores respectively.
Roaring Star Sri Muralii is playing the lead role alongside actors Prakash Raj, Rukmini Vasanth, Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar, and Garuda Ram, playing important roles in the film.
The movie’s OTT rights have been acquired by Netflix and are expected to stream from the 21st of this month which also includes the Tulu language. Stay tuned in Binged for more updates regarding ‘Bagheera’.
