The Diwali week will see multiple films released. Out of them, the most prominent releases will be from Bollywood, being Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Whereas, in the regional languages, Bagheera and Amaran are among the most favorites. The Hindi releases are the most anticipated releases of the current time, making them the national favorites during Diwali. The question is, will the regional cinema get outshined by them?
As per IMDB, Bagheera is the third most anticipated Indian film of the time, lagging behind Singham Again and BB 3. But the difference between their popularity is really vast. Bagheera has a great reception of 102k likes in BookMyShow, which is a great number for a regional film. The film is written by KGF fame Prashanth Neel, who can ensure a good attention towards it.
Also, the film has an engaging plot and people have shown a good response towards its trailer. The film is being compared with the concept of Batman, which further increases the hype. All this sums up a good reception for the film.
The film will be released on October 31st, a day before the release of Singham Again and BB 3. It means, it will have a whole day to create a buzz around itself and make a good name in the minds of the audience. This will ensure a better retention of the audience for the film later. Also, the film’s release in Kannada and Telugu will widen the audience generating more revenue.
Though it seems unlikely for the film to outshine Singham Again and BB 3 and emerge as the dominating film of Diwali; the opposite too does not seem to happen. Even with the presence of those two films, Bagheera has a good chance of making its impression among the audience
