‘This time, the movie will watch you’, that’s the tagline shared by the filmmakers of UI sharing the official release date of the film. Leaving audiences in sheer confusion and suspense, the makers dropped the poster with the above-mentioned tagline.
Upendra is shown in the new poster brandishing a rifle in a fashionable attitude against a purple backdrop. Other masked guys brandishing firearms are also seen on the poster.
After a nine-year break, Upendra returns to filmmaking with UI, which he wrote, directed, and stars in. His previous film was Uppi 2, which came out in 2015. With its vivid cinematography and eerie soundtrack, the previously published teaser transports us to a dismal world.
Riding a two-horned horse, Upendra promises to be a formidable force in the film when he first appears. Reeshma Nanaiah, Sunny Leone, and Murali Sharma all play significant roles in the movie, which stars Upendra as the lead role.
B Ajaneesh Loknath, who is well-known for his work on Kantara, composed the score and soundtrack. Made on a high-profile budget of Rs 100 crore, the film promises to set another benchmark in the field of PAN Indian films.
It all comes down to December 20th as the highly anticipated film makes its way to theatres. It will be having a huge clash with another PAN Indian film in Varun Dhawan Baby John. It will be interesting to see how Upendra’s work of art is received by the audience.
