Mr. Wildfire’s journey—or as we all know it, Pushpa 2—is now streaming on Netflix. And finally, Hindi fans can rejoice as they get to enjoy Pushpa 2 in their own language.
However, two major concerns have emerged. First, the Kannada version has been snubbed. Earlier, it was confirmed that the movie would be released in four major South Indian languages—Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam—while Hindi would take a backseat.
Even yesterday, Netflix posted a tweet confirming the Hindi release. But when the film dropped at midnight, while the Hindi version was available, there was no sign of the Kannada dub.
Additionally, some fans expressed disappointment over the release of the extended version, as they had expected the regular one. However, this is more of a minor complaint, as the extended version includes everything from the original along with some added scenes.
While Kannada fans are still waiting for their dub, Pushpa 2 continues to soar. The film is already one of the biggest Indian box-office successes, and with theatricals performing exceptionally well on OTT, we might not just have a wildfire—we could be witnessing a record-breaker.
