The Mollywood filmography this year has produced lesser comedy in genre flicks where some of them turned a failed exception. How can this upcoming Malayalam flick deliver the essence that will satisfy the audience?
‘United Kingdom of Kerala’ is expected to be a coming-of-age comedy-drama edited, written, and directed by Arun Vaiga which will be his second effort, where Anne Sajeev Alex for Fragrant Nature Film Creations along with Pooyapally Productions will be bankrolling the flick.
Technical labour of the movie will be an expected factor where Rajesh Murugesan will be composing the music as well as the background scores, who is popular for his works like ‘Premam’ and ‘Gold’. Debutant Sinoj V Ayyappan will be handling the cinematography and Vishnu Govind is the sound designer for the flick.
Actors Ranjith Sajeev and Johny Antony will be playing the main leads alongside actors Indrans, Manoj K Jayan, Sangeetha, Manju Pillai, Sarangi Shyam, and Alphonse Puthren respectively.
Followed by the broken-hearted role in Vishnu Sivaprasad’s ‘Mike’, this flick will be a huge challenge for Ranjith Sajeev that also includes the opportunity to perform the powerhouses of talents like Johny Antony, Indrans, and Manju Pillai who has already established their names based on their versatility.
Furthermore, Director Alphonse Puthren’s acting feat is also a reason to wait for such a movie for which he has done a brief role in his blockbuster ‘Premam’. Another new wave will join the industry, and wishing it to bring the change it is trying to do.
