The official teaser of an upcoming Malayalam movie has been announced by its crew on their YouTube channel. How will be its reception? What can be brought by this effort to engage the audience?
‘Oru Anweshanathinte Thudakkam’ (Eng. Beginning of A Pursuit) is expected to be a crime investigation thriller film written and directed by M.A Nishad. The film will be bankrolled by K V Abdul Nazar under the banner of Benzy Productions.
The storyline seems to have a plot-based narrative that will be based on a crime, investigation, law and order, media intervention, and its conclusion. The performances and technical labour are highly anticipated, and well teaser cuts by Linto Kurian are excellent.
However, the content repetition and comparison with well-acclaimed movies with the same background are its greatest challenges. Also, the making is expected to be at a marginal level as the teaser suggests.
Vivekh Menon will handle the cinematography, John Kutty will oversee the editing, and M Jayachandran will compose the music and background scores, along with special mentions like costumes designed by Sameera Saneesh.
The movie will feature actors Shine Tom Chacko, Vani Vishwanath, M A Nishad, Durga Krishna, Swasika, Sshivada, Manju Pillai, Samuthirakani, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Baiju Santhosh, and Prasanth Alex playing important roles.
Furthermore, this movie will be actor Vani Vishwanath’s comeback after years of hiatus, and hoping her feat to be noteworthy.
