The official date of an upcoming Malayalam movie has been announced by its crew on their YouTube channel. With the low in the industry’s box office, how probable is it for this movie to become a saviour?
‘Anand Sreebala’ is a cop re-investigation thriller which is directed by Vishnu Vinay and bankrolled by Priya Venu Kunnapilly for Kavya Film Company along with Neeta Pinto for Aan Mega Media. Abhilash Pillai has penned the screenplay and dialogues for the project, based on some true events.
The technical labour includes the handling of cinematography by Vishnu Narayanan, editing overseen by Kiran Das, and Ranjin Raj will be composing the music as well as the background scores respectively.
The story is expected to cover the sensitive cases happening in the state and how law and order are going to tackle the shackles and achieve a result based on several assumptions and studies. Also, the narrative is expected to have a character-based kind, who will be responsible for mobilizing the plot.
The movie will feature actor Arjun Ashokan as the main lead, alongside actors Saiju Kurup, Aparna Das, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Siddique, Sangeetha, Malavika Manoj, Indrans, Manoj K U, Shivada, Kottayam Nazeer, Azees Nedumangad, Nandu, Muthumani, and Vineeth Thattil playing important roles.
Actor Arjun Ashokan has been popular for his performances in the recent ‘Bramayugam’, ‘Abraham Ozler’ and ‘Madhuram’ as well as Saiju Kurup’s performance in the latest ongoing web series ‘Jai Mahendran’ is receiving positive reports and is streaming on the Sony LIV platform.
