The much-anticipated Indian movie is feared due to the low number of screens today at the Kerala theatres despite its translation of the flick’s title. How is it going to affect the effort?
‘Prabhayay Ninachathellam’ is a socio-drama flick directed by Payal Kapadia based on the story of two Keralite nurses based in Mumbai, where the movie is jointly produced by various companies like Petit Chaos, Chalk and Cheese Films as well as BALDR Films respectively.
Subsequently, the movie received laurels like the ‘Grand Prix Award’ and an official selection in screening at the 49th ‘Toronto International Film Festival’ (TIFF) entitled ‘All We Imagine As Light.’
As per credible audience responses, the movie has been receiving positive responses concerning its subtle and delicate performances of actors, storyline, screenplay, and technical labour like music and background scores which are soothing and engaging.
Furthermore, this movie has been the first one to represent both countries- India and France for the official entry to the 97th Academy Awards next year in the Best International Film category. Even though the actors are popular in their industry, their theatrical market value may be a dilemma despite their performance.
However, the production house Spirit Media, founded by Telugu actor Rana Daggubati, acquired the exclusive rights to distribute the Malayalam-Hindi film in India, and the actor-producer is hopeful and jubilant due to the presence of the two Malayalam actors who are playing the lead roles in the film.
The effort is conceived in such a way that has a compelling dramatic way of storytelling and is intriguing at the same time. The movie has languages mainly like Malayalam which the two main leads spoke, Hindi and Marathi which were the languages spoken in the location world.
Actors Kani Kusruti and Divya Prabha play the main leads alongside actors Chhaya Kadam, Hridhu Haroon, Azees Nedumangad, and Anand Sami doing important roles respectively.
