The month of December this year seems to have different genres of Malayalam films coming up and hoping the flicks are meant to break the boundaries. How will this upcoming movie set a mark in the box office with its preponed release?
‘ED (Extra Decent)’ is expected to be a family comedy-drama film directed by debutant Aamir Pallikal where Listin Stephen for Magic Frames Productions and Suraj Venjaramoodu for Vilasini Cinemas will be producing the effort. Aashif Kakkodi will be penning his debut screenplay and dialogues for the film.
The technical labour includes the cinematography by Sharon Srinivas, editing overseen by Sreejith Sarang, and music, as well as the background scores composed by Ankit Menon, respectively.
Actor Suraj Venjaramoodu is playing the lead in the film with debut actor Dilna as the female lead alongside actors Sudheer Karamana, Grace Antony, Raffi, Shyam Mohan, Vinaya Prasad, Prasanth Alexander, Sajin Cherukayil, Vineeth Thattil, and Shaju Shridhar will be playing important roles to the film.
Expectations for the movie include the performances where actor Suraj will be the star attraction, for his different attire and characterization followed by the feat of other actors who can make a remarkable flavour to the effort.
However, the narrative is expected to have a close resemblance with the Malayalam movie ‘Home’ to which it can be a talk of comparison.
Also, its competition with highly-anticipated flicks like ‘Marco’, ‘Barroz’, and ‘Rifle Club’ can be a noteworthy challenge, and hope the movie will become a family entertainer.
