10 Indian Films Streaming On OTT In The Next 10 Days!

It’s a glut of Indian films on OTT in the second half of May. 10+ movies will hit Indian OTT platforms in the next ten days. The movies span languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The list features diverse genres such as black comedy, drama, action, humour, slice-of-life and more.

A couple of movies in the list are direct to digital movies, one is a made-for-OTT movie, and the rest are heading towards their OTT release after satisfactory runs in the theatres.

So without much ado, let’s check out all the movies that will premiere on OTT in the next 10 days –

Kathal – 19th May, Netflix, Hindi
Kathal is a made-for-OTT dark comedy film, centred on a couple of stolen ‘Kathal’, aka jackfruit in English. The kathal belong to the local strongman politician, and a rookie policewoman is determined to get to the bottom of the mystery to prove herself. Directed by Yashowardhan Mishra, produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Sikhya Entertainment. Starring Sanya Malhotra, Anant V Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Neha Saraf.

Agent – 19th May, SonyLIV, Telugu
Agent is a spy thriller, with Akhil Akkineni playing a wild and passionate youngster, who is sent on a covert operation by R.A.W. Chief Devil, played by Mammootty. Dino Morea plays primary antagonist, God. Also starring Sakshi Vaidya, Sampath Raj, Sathya, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Murali Sharma, Anish Kuruvilla. Agent is written by Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Surender Reddy

Ayalvaashi – 19th May, Netflix Malayalam
‘Ayalvaashi’ centres on two neighbours, who’ve been best friends, until the day a small misunderstanding leads them to become sworn enemies. The film is helmed by debutant director, Irshad Parari. The film stars Soubin Shahir, Binu Pappu, Nikhila Vimal, Lijomol Jose, and Naslen, among others.

Kacchey Limbu – 19th May, Jio Cinema, Hindi
‘Kacchey Limbu’ is a coming-of-age sibling drama, which inspires youngsters to follow their dream, no matter what. The film stars Radhika Madan, Rajat Barmecha and Ayush Mehra in pivotal roles. It is written and directed by Shubham Yogi, and produced by Jio Studios and Mango People Media.

Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham – 19th May, SonyLIV, Malayalam
Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham is a heartwarming drama that centres on a young man who is compelled to give up his dreams in order to fulfill his mother’s wish. The film’s central theme focuses on the power of positivity and perseverance in the face of adversity. Starring Basil Joseph, Siddique, Fara Shibla, Indrans, Sreeja Ravi, Jaffer Idukki, Parvathy R Krishna, Binu Pappu. Directed by Muhashin

Maruthi Nagar Police Station – 19th May, Aha Video, Tamil
A direct-to-digital release, Maruthi Nagar Police Station is a crime drama with a unique story that revolves around a police station, where all events in the film take place in a single night. The film stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Arav in the leads. It is directed by Dhayal Padmanaban.

Pookkaalam – 19th May, Disney Plus Hotstar, Malayalam
Pookkaalam is a slice-of-life drama, which tells the story of a 100-year-old man Ittoop, and his wife Kochuthresiamma, who lead a happy life with a large family of four generations. On the day of their granddaughter’s engagement, an unexpected event sends them on a magical journey that will test their familial bonds. The film stars Vijayaraghavan, K.P.A.C.Leela, Roshan Mathew, Jagadish Kumar and Suhasini Maniratnam, along with Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Johny Antony. It is written and directed by Ganesh Raj.

Virupaksha – 21st May, Netflix, Telugu
Virupaksha is a supernatural horror film that centres on a village where several mysterious deaths occur, hinting at supernatural and occult forces at work. The whole town is afraid, and the problems continue as they search for the one responsible. Starring Sai Dharam Tej, Samyuktha Menon, Sunil, Rajeev Kanakala, Brahmaji, Ajay, Ravi Krishna. Written and directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, co-written by Sukumar.

Bhediya – 26th May, Jio Cinema, Hindi
Bhediya is a creature horror film, centered on a greedy contractor Bhaskar, who is only interested in grabbing tribal land in Arunachal Pradesh for construction. He transforms into a shape-shifting werewolf after being bitten by a wolf in the forests of Arunachal, even as he and his friends look for answers amid many twists, turns and laughs. Starring Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee. Written by Niren Bhatt, directed by Amar Kaushik.

Sathi Gani Rendu Ekaralu – 26th May, Telugu, Aha Video
Made-for-OTT film Sathi Gani Rendu Ekaralu is a dark comedy, centred on Sathi, a helpless villager, who is burdened by massive debts. He first sells his family valuables to tide over his financial troubles. When that doesn’t suffice, he plans to sell his family land. The film marks the entry of celebrated movie production house Mythri Movie Makers in the streaming world. It is directed by Abhinav Danda.
