A massive number of Indian films are gearing up to make their way to streaming, in the next fifteen days. The films about to release on OTT span a gamut of Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
A couple of movies in the list are direct to digital movies, a couple are made-for-OTT movies, and the rest are heading towards their OTT release after satisfactory runs in the theatres.
So without much ado, let’s check out all the movies that will premiere on OTT in the next 15 days –
1. Kuttey – 16th March, Hindi, Netflix
Kuttey is a noir crime drama, produced by Vishal Bhardwaj, directed by Aasman Bhardwaj, and starring Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Konkana Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan, Shardul Bhardwaj, Kumud Mishra, among others.
2. Writer Padmabhushan – 17th March, Telugu, ZEE5
Writer Padmabhushan is a comedy drama film, directed by debutant Shanmukha Prasanth. The film features Suhas in the titular role, along with Tina Shilparaj, Rohini and Ashish Vidyarthi.
3. Vaathi – 17th March, Tamil and Telugu, Netflix
Vaathi is a coming-of-age period action drama, directed by Venky Atluri, and starring Dhanush, Samyuktha Menon, P. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Hyper Aadi, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu.
4. Saathi Gaani Rendu Ekaralu – 17th March, Telugu, Aha Video
Saathi Gaani Rendu Ekaralu is a dark comedy film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers in their first OTT project. It is directed by Abhinav Danda, and stars Jagadeesh Bandari, Vennela Kishore, Bithri Sathi, Mohana Sree Suraaga, Raj Tirandasu, and Aneesha Dama.
5. Am I Next – 17th March, Hindi, ZEE5
Am I Next is a social drama, focusing on the issue of sexual assault, subsequent pregnancy and the right to abortion. It is directed by Rahat Kazmi, and stars Anushka Sen and Neelu Dogra.
6. Once Upon A Time In Jamaligudda – 17th March, Kannada, Sun NXT
Once Upon A Time In Jamaligudda is a Kannada romantic drama, written and directed by Kushal Gowda, and starring Dhananjaya and Aditi Prabhudeva in lead roles.
7. Gandhada Gudi – 17th March, Kannada, Prime Video
Gandhada Gudi is a Kannada docudrama film, directed by Amoghavarsha JS. It stars himself and Puneeth Rajkumar, in his final appearance on screen. The film taps into the late Puneeth Rajkumar’s love for travel, adventure and Karnataka’s rich natural beauty.
8. Momo In Dubai – 17th March, Malayalam, Manorama Max
Momo In Dubai is a heartwarming Malayalam family film, directed by Ameen Aslam and starring Aneesh G Menon, Anu Sithara and Athreya Baiju.
9. Pathaan – 22nd March, Hindi, Prime Video
Pathaan is a Bollywood spy and action thriller, directed by Siddharth Anand, written by Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala, and starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles.
10. Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha – 22nd March, Telugu, Aha Video
Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha is a Telugu romantic action thriller film, written and directed by debutant Murali Kishor Abburu, and starring Kiran Abbavaram, Kashmira Pardeshi, Murali Sharma, among others
11. Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga – 24th March, Hindi, Netflix
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga is a heist thriller cum hostage drama, directed by Ajay Singh, and starring Yami Gautam, Sunny Kaushal, Sharad Kelkar, Rik Aby, among others.
12. Kanjoos Makhichoos – 24th March, Hindi, ZEE5
Kanjoos Makhichoos is a comedy film, directed by Vipul Mehta, and starring Kunal Khemu, Shweta Tripathi, Piyush Mishra, Alka Amin, Rajeev Gupta and Raju Srivastava, in his final film appearance.
13. Poovan – 24th March, Malayalam, ZEE5
Poovan is a Malayalam film, in the slice-of-life genre. It is directed by Vineeth Vasudevan, and stars Antony Varghese, Girish A.D., Sajin Cherukayil and Vineeth Vasudevan, among others.
14. Purusha Pretham – 24th March, Malayalam, SonyLIV
Purusha Pretham is a Malayalam crime drama and police procedural. It is directed by Krishand R K, who had earlier made the quirky ‘Aavasavyuham: The Arbit Documentation of An Amphibian Hunt’. It stars Darshana Rajendran, Pramod Velliyanad, Maala Parvathi, Prasanth Alexander, Jagadish, Devaki Rajendran, Geethi Sangeetha, Shiny Sara, Jolly Chirayath, among others.
15. Sridevi Shoban Babu – 30th March, Telugu, Disney Plus Hotstar
Sridevi Shoban Babu is a Telugu romantic drama, directed by Prasanth Kumar Dimmala, and starring Santosh Shoban, Gouri G Kishan, Nagendra Babu, Moin, among others.
16. Gaslight – 31st March, Hindi, Disney Plus Hotstar
Gaslight is a Bollywood psychological thriller and murder mystery, directed by Pawan Kripalani, and starring Sara Ali Khan, Vikrant Massey, Chitrangada Singh, Akshay Oberoi, among others.
17. Amigos – 1st April, Telugu, Netflix
Amigos is a Telugu action thriller, directed by Rajendra Reddy, and starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in a triple role, along with Ashika Ranganath, Brahmaji, Sapthagiri and Kalyani Natarajan in pivotal roles.
