The first official poster for the third season of ‘Witcher‘ is released now. It features Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer and Ciri holding themselves together tightly in it.
The witcher series tells the story of a mutated monster hunter named Geralt and his struggles and adventures while fighting terrible beasts as well as human beings. It is adapted from the novel series of the same name by Andrzej Sapkowski. It is adapted for Netflix by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.
The universe of Witcher that is created by Andrzej Sapkowski, is expanding day by day and many spin-offs are announced, there is news of an anime prequel for the show as well. Apart from Henry Cavill, there will be actors as Freya Allan as Cirilla, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Joey Batey as Jaskier, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Anna Shaffer as Triss Merigold, Kim Bodnia and many others.
There had been much controversy about the popular series after the exit of Henry Cavill from the show as the lead. The show could easily level up to one of the most popular shows of all times with Henry Cavill. But Liam Hemsworth is going to replace him in the fourth season. The Good news is, we can still see Cavill in the legendary role of Geralt and hopefully, the makers will give a proper goodbye to him.
The second season of the show deviated from the source material which caused much confusion and debate, which flared even more after the announcement of Cavill’s departure. A part of the audience is already disinterested in the series. But they will be excited to see Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia for one last time.
