Hardcore masala movies from the Hindi film industry are often a safe space for people of all ages and sometimes, even demographics! And they are something audiences come back to from time to time. A streaming platform that is leading the movement to bring back classic and old contemporary Hindi films by re-releasing them has to be ‘Shemaroo Me’.
The platform is now set to bring back another title from the previous decade that did not garner much attention but definitely had an interesting plotline. Releasing on June 6 is director Susheel Gajwani’s mystery thriller ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’!
Centered around a man who enters into a deeply troubled state of mind, the film explores his life in the aftermath of when he starts to feel the presence of a stranger all around him. The film stars actors Shekhar Bhosle, Gyan Narsinghani, and Snehal Dalvi in leading roles.
Although the title did not get appropriate execution and more justice could’ve been done to the adrenaline-packed storyline, its re-release comes following the multiple underrated contemporary titles that have dropped on the streaming platform recently. So much so, that the streamer features the widest library of old Hindi titles for any platform currently.
