The 2023 Emmy Awards ceremony will now air on January 15, 2024.
The 75th edition of the prestigious Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, which was originally scheduled to take place on September 18, got postponed due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes in Hollywood. Nominations were announced back in July this year.
The highly anticipated ceremony will take place after the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which will be held over two successive nights, January 6 and January 7, 2024.
Jesse Collins, Jeannae Rouzan-Clay, and Dionne Harmon, from Jesse Collins Entertainment, will serve as this year’s executive producers.

“As the Emmy Awards celebrates its 75th Anniversary, the show will broadcast live on FOX coast-to-coast from the Peacock Theater at LA Live and will honor the talented performers, writers, directors, and craftspeople who work has entertained, inspired, and connected viewers across the globe throughout the past year.”
HBO’s Succession topped this year’s nomination list with a total of 27 nominations. Shows like, The Last of Us (HBO), The White Lotus (HBO), and Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) also received over 20 nominations. Other pop culture entries like The Mandalorian, Andor, Beef, The Bear, and more, are also a part of the impressive list.
