In the next four days, we will get four brilliant new movies which we have been waiting for quite some time – years in the case of some. And like many of us who are stuck inside our homes during these times of crisis – we are looking for something to keep our minds occupied for the time being. So check out below to more about these upcoming four films and where to stream them:

Kuruthi
First up on this list is the Prithviraj-starring Malayalam political thriller, ‘Kuruthi‘. Unlike most Malayalam thrillers, this movie remains quite cryptic regarding its plot and all we know so far is that Prithviraj’s character is out for revenge and the OST is quite addicting. Check out this movie when it premieres on Amazon Prime Video the day after tomorrow, on 11th August 2021.

Shershaah
This upcoming Indian film is a biographical war film based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee and army captain Vikram Batra. The film will show his journey as he enters military service and finds purpose in life as he goes to war for his country. Sidharth Malhotra stars in a double role, as Batra and his identical twin brother Vishal alongside Kiara Advani, who plays the role of Dimple Cheema, Vikram’s fiance. This movie releases on Amazon Prime Video as well, on August 12th 2021.

Netrikann
This upcoming Tamil thriller film is a remake of the popular Korean film, ‘Blind’. The Nayanthara led film follows a blind woman who wants to testify against a person for a hit-and-run case. Her life turns upside down when the killer starts to stalk her. Check out this psychological thriller on Disney+ Hotstar on August 13th 2021.

Bhuj: The Pride of India
Set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, this film talks about the life of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik. Said soldier was in charge of the Bhuj airport, which regularly got bombed by the Pakistan Air Forces during the war. Karnik, along with his team, reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 women from the local village Madhapar. This movie will premiere for the first time on Disney+ Hotstar on August 13th 2021.
