A total of 4 South Indian films are arriving on OTT this week. The interesting thing is that each of these 4 four films are from four different industries down South – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Here is a look into these 4 new OTT outings.
Drishya 2
Drishya 2 is the Kannada remake of Malayalam blockbuster mystery drama Drishyam 2, which had Mohanlal in the lead role. Drishya 2 is directed by P Vasu and it has Ravichandran, Navya Nair, Swaroopini, Prabhu, and Asha Sharath in the central roles. The film will be made available for streaming on ZEE5 from the 25th of this month. The film is billed to be a faithful remake of the original.
Sehari
Sehari is a Telugu language comedy drama which has young actors Harsh Kanumilli and Simran Chaudhary in the lead roles. “Shattered by his break-up, a disturbed young man, Varun, makes a spontaneous decision to get married. Things take a different turn when he ends up falling for the bride`s sister instead during the bridal gaze.” The film’s plot reads. The comedy caper didn’t hold well at the box office and exactly two weeks post its theatrical release, it is arriving on OTT. Sehari premieres on Aha Video on the 25th of this month.
Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal
The Tamil language social drama has Ashok Selvan, Reyaa, Nassar, K. Manikandan, Abi Hassan, Anju Kurian, and others in important roles. The film revolves around 4 individuals who are all affected by a road accident. The film is directed by Vishal Venkat and it will be available for streaming on Aha Tamil from the 25th of this month.
Ajagajantharam is a Malayalam language action drama featuring Antony Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sabumon, and others in the central roles. Aranjali is all set to celebrate the annual temple festival. Some unforeseen chain of events involving an elephant, a few young men, a notorious criminal, a drama troop and some trouble-loving villagers brings complete mayhem to the place, the plot reads. The film arrives on Sony Liv on the 25th of this month.
