We are just hours away from the premiere of Netflix’s Money Heist Season 5 Volume 1. The much-awaited season is coming to its viewers after a wait of almost two years and there are lots of questions that need to be answered and lots that will be asked.
But, before you start your watch, we would like to give you some points to look out for. These 4 points are something that you can expect to see in this season of Money Heist.
Lisbon Taking Over
As seen in the trailer, we know Alicia will be taking over Professor. Now we don’t know what ends up happening between Professor and Alicia as they are away in that far away place, but we definitely know what can happen in the Bank. Since the heist is still not over, and they will be still reeling from the death of their dearest friend, Nairobi they have to get back in control as soon as possible, or else everything they worked for will come crumbling down. The only person who knows Professor’s plan in and out is his girlfriend Lisbon and judging from the trailer, we might see Lisbon leading the team as Professor deals with Alicia for the time being. This will be beneficial for the team, because that woman will be able to think just how the police are thinking at the moment, with her past background.
Tokyo’s Past
We don’t know much about anyone’s past in the show, but only glimpses of a past we have is of the lead character Tokyo. Before, she was picked up by Professor; she was robbing banks with her boyfriend who was ultimately shot dead. Later, in one of the seasons, she was informed that her mother who was held hostage by police at one point is now dead. But, with the Season 5 trailer, we saw something more. We saw a happy Tokyo and not with Rio, but with her past boyfriend. So, there’s definitely something in store for the fans this time as it will be important to see how Tokyo’s “dead” boyfriend comes into the picture.
Gandia Madness
Well, for starters, Gandia was shown dead in the last season, as Helsinki smacked him hard and Denver knocked him out after he shot their dear Nairobi. The trailer showed Tokyo dragging a bloodied Gandia this time. But we don’t exactly know if he was actually dead last time or was just passed out. If he isn’t dead, he will be one deadly enemy for the team inside to deal with besides everything. He will be a complete menace if he still is alive, he will be the connecting link between the police outside and taking everything down inside. So, Gandia’s madness will be something to look forward to.
Full Blown War
It’s not the end of the season yet, but from what we have seen in the trailer, one thing’s for sure and that is there will definitely be a lot of firing and shooting. We have seen how Tokyo has called that this isn’t just a heist anymore, it has transcended into a full-fledged war between the one defending the law and government and one who is totally against all the secrets the Government holds at this point. Despite that, two things that will be of priority to them will be taking out all the gold and saving themselves without losing anymore from the team. Now, this won’t be, because there will be a hell load of cross-firing involved in this situation.
One can say, this is the perfect beginning of the end for the amazing Spanish series Money Heist that Netflix has brought to its viewers.
