5 Must-Watch 90-Minute Movies You Can Watch on OTT (Part-2)

By Binged Bureau - Dec 26, 2021 @ 11:12 am
5 Must-Watch 90-Minute Movies You Can Watch on OTT (Part-2)

It’s Christmas weekend and we are back again with another useful binge-watch list. This is a follow-up to our first “5 must-watch 90-minute movies” article. We have tried to handpick entertaining and well-made films with a runtime of just around or under 90 minutes from various genres which you can enjoy even if you’re short on time. We hope you’ll enjoy these films as much as we had enjoyed compiling this list for you.

Zombieland (Streaming on Netflix)

A genuinely enjoyable zombie comedy movie after Edgar Wright’s now cult 2004 film ‘Shawn of the Dead’. The film follows a young man’s (Jesse Eisenberg) journey amidst a zombie-infested, post-apocalyptic America. During his perilous undertaking, he meets a tough and efficient zombie killer Woody Harrelson and two women and together they take an eventful road trip in order to find a place free of these killer creatures.

Modern Times (Streaming on Mubi)

Another timeless comedy movie that was written, directed, produced by, and features one of the greatest entertainers of all time – Charlie Chaplin. The 1936 silent film’s plotline revolves around Charlie Chaplin’s legendary character Little Tramp and portrays his hilarious misadventures as a factory worker who is struggling to survive in the times of modern industrialization.

The Guilty (Streaming on Netflix)

Helmed by Antoine Fuqua (Director – Training Day, The Equalizer, Southpaw), the film’s plot follows a 911 call operator (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) and how he remotely tries to help a kidnapped woman escape from her abductor’s clutches. However, he eventually realizes there is more to it than meets the eye. It’s a worthy watch particularly for Jake Gyllenhaal’s spellbinding performance and for thriller movie aficionados.

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (Streaming on Netflix)

In this Primetime Emmy Award-winning interactive sci-fi film, viewers not only watch the goings-on but also make multiple choices for the movie’s principal character Stefan Butler. Stefan is a video game programmer who is trying to adapt the ‘Bandersnatch’ book into a computer game and eventually begins to question reality. Interestingly, each decision taken by the user resulted in a different ending for the film.

Hachi: A Dog’s Tale (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)

The film’s underlying plot is based on the true story of a dog named Hachiko, who resided in Japan in the 1920s period and is known for his incredible loyalty to his owner. The heartrending film features Richard Gere as a music professor who adopts a lost Akita puppy which he finds on a train station platform and they both form an everlasting bond.
