The animated Western movie revolves around the titular character Rango (voiced by Johnny Depp), who somehow lands in a lawless place called Dirt where he takes charge as the sheriff.
Django Unchained, 2012 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
Helmed by ‘Kill Bill’ director Quentin Tarantino and set in the year 1858, the film features Jamie Foxx in the titular role of a freed slave named Django Freeman. He teams up with a German bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) to free his wife from the clutches of a cruel plantation owner (Leonardo Di Caprio).
The Revenant, 2015 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
This was the film that won Leonardo Di Caprio a well-deserved Oscar for his performance. In the year 1823, a famed frontiersman Hugh Glass (Leonardo Di Caprio) is left for dead by his hunting team after a grizzly bear fatally injures him. Driven by his vengeance and the will to survive, Hugh Glass uses his unique skills in an unkind terrain to track down his former associate (Tom Hardy) who had betrayed him.
