5 Scenes From MCU Series That Are More Important Than You Think

2022 is finally here, which means that it is time for the second year of the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s (MCU) Phase IV. This will be the largest “Phase” in the MCU with a total of 11 movies and 13 TV shows expected to be a part of it. Already 4 movies and 5 TV series have been released in 2021 alone – making it the “busiest year” for Marvel Studios. And like the predecessor projects, these already released films and web series have a few low key scenes which will have a bigger influence in the future. For this article, let us take a look at one low key scene/moment from each MCU web series released so far, that will go onto have a big impact in a future MCU project:

WandaVision – White Vision Retains Memories

This might look like the return of Vision to some, but it is not. We are shown an intelligent synthezoid with a completely different personality from Vision, receive Vision’s original memories. While this moment is low key in the series, we expect White Vision to make an appearance in a major MCU project soon, possibly ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ (because of Wanda’s involvement).

The Falcon And The Winter Solider – Sharon Carter Gets Exonerated
We are shown a small post credit scene because this low key side character, Sharon Carter, will have an impact in future MCU projects. While we already knew this, we were still unsure of which MCU projects she was going to be a part of. That became a lot more clear at the end of ‘Hawkeye’ – she is likely going to show up in an MCU project that will feature New York’s biggest crime lord – The Kingpin.

Loki – He Who Remains Reveals His Story
The story of He Who Remains was important, but that part of the series becomes somewhat low key after he is killed by Sylvie and the multiverse gets (re)created. He Who Remains is supposed to be the ancestor of Reed Richards AKA Mr. Fantastic from the Fantastic 4. While we do not know how this character’s involvement will have an impact on the MCU (which it definitely will – he is likely to be the primary antagonist of this phase or the next), we do know that he will very likely have an impact in the last film of MCU’s Phase 4 film – ‘Fantastic Four’.

What If…? – Guardians Of The Multiverse
Because of the introduction of the Multiverse in the web series, ‘Loki, we have a feeling that the “Guardians of the Multiverse” will be making an appearance in one of the final MCU movies – likely an Avengers film for a final showdown against a major villain. There is also a chance that the final villain(s) from this show could also be the major antagonist(s) of the Phase V of the MCU.

Hawkeye – Kingpin Gets Shot
This is not exactly a low key moment – especially for Marvel comic book fans. Many who saw Kingpin’s “death” off-camera knows that this crime lord was shot and left for dead by the same character in the web series, Maya. However, if the comics are to be believed, the crime boss will return to the MCU – and create a major crisis for our heroes.

All of the aforementioned Marvel web series can be viewed on Disney+ Hotstar.
