6 Must Watch Legal Dramas Ahead of Juvenile Justice

After the massive success of Squid Game and All of Us Are Dead, the next upcoming Netflix original Korean series is ‘Juvenile Justice‘. Starring the very iconic Kim Hye-soo (Signal, Hyena) in the lead role, the story revolves around a newly appointed judge who has a firm distaste and prejudice against kids. She maintains a firm balance between her aversion towards minor offenders with her film belief on Justice as she handles cases inside a Juvenile Court. Juvenile Justice, a limited 10 episode courtroom drama series premieres on Netflix worldwide today. The show also stars Kim Moo-yeol, Lee Sung-min and Lee Jung-eun.

Legal K-dramas akin to courtroom dramas from any part of the world has developed a broad audience for their addictive combination of thrills, crime stories and courtroom drama. Audiences get to see prosecutors, lawyers, and even police officials crackdown crimes and battling it out at the courtrooms.But not all K-dramas are serious and action-packed. 1) Law School (2021)
Akin to the very popular How to Get Away with Murder starring Viola Davis, Law School also centres around Yang Jong-hoon played by Kim Myung-min , a former prosecutor-turned-professor at a known law school who is not well liked by his colleagues and students. The students and Yang Jong-Hoon’s lives intertwine when a professor is found murdered and Jong-hoon is the main suspect. 2) The Devil Judge (2021)
This much appreciated k-drama starring Ji Sung and Kim Min-Jung in the lead is a legal drama that takes place in dystopian South Korea, where people live in absolute anarchy and harbor hate towards their leaders. This is when the government plans out a trial judge live show where all citizens can participate and judge. A heartless head trial judge, Kang Yo-han, is appointed as a chief judge who along with two other judges come together to bring Justice and peace mercilessly. Streaming on Netflix India.

3) Lawless Lawyer (2016)
Now this k-drama is not merely law and court. Its action packed. In this action-packed Korean legal drama, a gangster turned lawyer played by Bong Song-pil avenges his mother using both his fists and his skills to fight corruption. This 16-episode nail-biting drama should head straight into your watchlist in no time. Streaming on Netflix India.

4) Hyena (2020)
This Korean drama is about two lawyers, Jung Geum-ja and Yoon Hee Jae played by Kim Hye-soo and Ju Ji Hoon who work with the richest 1% society. Watch how the two ambitious lawyers outsmart each other in a cut-throat competitive world while also encountering love, deception and lies as they progress. 5) Vincenzo (2021)
A gangster mob thriller in parts, slapstick comedy in parts and legal drama in parts, add some romance, corruption and melodrama gluing it all together, Vincenzo is very much entertaining and worth your attention. Starring the very charming Song Joong-ki (Descendants of the Sun) and Jeon Yeo-been, this k-drama was one of 2021’s most buzzed shows, and rightly so. Streaming on Netflix.

6) I can Hear your (2013)
In this Korean drama, a public lawyer teams up with a high-school student who can read other people’s minds to find the culprit behind his father’s dubious murder. Watch them solve cases together later. Starring Lee Jong-suk and Lee Bong-young in the lead roles, this 18 episode show is worth a binge. Streaming on Netflix.
