The second week of June is packed with exciting new shows and films across streaming platforms, offering a mix of emotional drama, crazy comedy, thrillers, and even reality TV.
First up on Netflix on June 10 is Families Like Ours, a deep and moving climate drama series from Oscar-winning director Thomas Vinterberg. The story is set in a future Denmark that’s sinking due to rising sea levels. As people are forced to evacuate, families start falling apart. It’s a powerful watch.
Then comes Padakkalam on JioHotstar on June 11. This one’s a wild ride! It starts off like a college comedy, but things go absolutely bonkers when one professor uses black magic to switch bodies with another. Students start noticing weird changes, and what follows is a hilarious supernatural mess that’s perfect if you just want to laugh and chill.
Also on June 11, Netflix drops Titan: The OceanGate Disaster, a serious and eye-opening documentary. It tells the real story behind the Titan submersible that tragically imploded during its dive to the Titanic. Using real interviews and expert insights, it reveals the shocking risks that were taken and how warnings were ignored.
June 12 is double-loaded. First, FUBAR returns on Netflix for season 2. Arnold Schwarzenegger is back as a CIA agent alongside his daughter. Expect action, drama, and a lot of fun as they go on more dangerous missions with personal problems in the mix.
And on Prime Video, The Traitors launches a reality show hosted by Karan Johar where celebs play a mind game full of lies and betrayal in a grand Rajasthani palace.
Finally, on June 13, Rana Naidu is back for season 2 on Netflix. Rana Daggubati fights enemies old and new while dealing with major family drama. With Arjun Rampal entering the scene, things are going to get intense.
There’s something for everyone, of every kind, this week to enjoy.
